Import Events

Welcome to the beta version of the bulk events importer!

A lot of users have been asking for this feature so we are very happy to roll this feature out.

Before you import your first CSV file, here’s some important things to know to make sure your import is a success.

You’ll need to format your CSV file properly to ensure it imports properly. You can import a list of venues, event organizers and most importantly events (you gigs, yeah!).

When importing events, make sure the venue and organizer already exist in the system. If you have already entered a venue/organizer from another event you have posted, then you should be good to go. You can always go to the single event entry page and confirm the organizer and venue name before you upload your CSV file, just to make sure they are already in the system.

We use The Events Calendar for our calendar system, and they have a handy step by step guide no importing CSV files, which you can view here.  We highly recommend reading this article before you import your first file!

Please Note: Currently only the CSV option is available.  The other options listed in the Importer drop-down menu will be activated in a future update.

We have some handy CSV templates you can use to make sure you have all the required columns with their proper heading.
